Billabong est fier d’annoncer que le wakeboarder Raphael Derome a renouvelé son entente avec la marque pour trois autres années. Le jeune rider de Coteaux-du-Lac s’est fait remarqué sur la scène mondiale lors de victoires à des compétitions internationales tel le FISE à Montpellier, France et Wake the Line à Cologne, Allemagne.

Raphael a aussi documenté l’un des segments vidéos les plus techniques autant sur les rails que derrière le bateau, ce qui a suscité beaucoup de réactions positives dans l’industrie.

Toutes ses réalisations ont été récompensé au Transworld Wakeboarding Wake Awards où il a reçu le titre de ‘Rail Rider of the Year’ au mois de  septembre dernier.

Upon signing his new deal, Raphael comments, “I’m stoked to continue my relationship with Billabong. They are an industry leader in the sport and they have been my major sponsor since I was 14 years old, so to re-sign with them only made sense.”
